Voting in Judicial Elections
All judicial elections in North Carolina are non-partisan. This is a recent change; a judicial candidate no longer has a political party designation beside his or her name. Consistent with this, a straight party ticket vote – a voter casting ballots for all candidates of one party with a single mark – does not register a choice in any judicial race. IF A VOTER CASTS A STRAIGHT PARTY TICKET VOTE AND GOES NO FURTHER, HE OR SHE WILL NOT HAVE CAST A VOTE IN ANY OF THE JUDICIAL RACES.
In order to vote for Judge Morgan and judicial candidates in other races, remember to look throughout the voting ballot and to register a choice in each individual judicial election. This way, every voter can be certain to vote in each judicial race without mistake, confusion or oversight. Every vote is important in every race!
Judge Morgan’s Superior Court Judge judicial race will appear on the ballots of all of the voting precincts which comprise Wake County’s Judicial District 10-A. These voting precincts are 1-12, 1-13, 1-14, 1-18, 1-19, 1-20, 1-22, 1-25, 1-26, 1-28, 1-34, 1-35, 1-40, 1-50, 17-03, 17-07 and 17-09.
THANK YOU!
